Settleo is a small independent team building an iPhone app for splitting shared costs with friends — trips, dinners, rent and everything in between. Too often a great trip ends with a spreadsheet, a pile of receipts and a slightly awkward group chat; Settleo exists to make that part easy.

What we believe

Splitting money should be fair, fast and never embarrassing. That is why the core of Settleo — receipt scanning, every split type, currencies and PDF export — is free and ad-free, and why the app nudges people to settle up gently instead of nagging them.

How we write our guides

Our guides answer the questions people actually ask when they split costs. We research them from public discussions (for example on Reddit) and thousands of public app reviews, then write our own step-by-step examples. Every claim about Settleo is checked against the app itself. Prices and limits of other apps are dated, because they change; if you spot something outdated, tell us and we’ll fix it.
